Enerad Dr Taiwo Ambali’s academic journey began in Ikire town, Osun State, Nigeria, where he attended St. John Primary School from 1986 to 1992. His early passion for learning paved the way for his transition to secondary education at Ayedaade Grammar School, the same town, where he honed not only his academic skills but also developed a strong sense of discipline and perseverance. Graduating in 1999, Taiwo’s foundational education laid the groundwork for a career that would navigate the realms of both technology and academia.

In pursuit of his passion for technology, Dr. Taiwo enrolled in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, where he obtained a National Diploma in Computer Engineering with distinction from 2002 to 2004. His academic excellence was further evidenced during his time at the same institution for his Higher National Diploma, which he completed with a strong upper credit between 2006 and 2008. At the Polytechnic, he immersed himself in technical coursework that solidified his understanding of computer systems and engineering principles. His education equipped him with practical skills, setting a solid framework for his professional endeavors in the ICT sector.

After completing his education, Taiwo undertook the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2009/2010, where he gained invaluable insights into network and communication services. Following this, he joined Complete Business Machine (CBM), an information and communication technology firm, where he worked for two years. During his tenure, he acquired hands-on experience in computer networking, software, and hardware installation, and server configuration. His exceptional performance earned him the opportunity to work in the Kano and Ibadan branches of the company, where he took on significant responsibilities in configuring servers—an experience that proved integral in shaping his professional identity.

Driven by his desire to deepen his knowledge, Taiwo sought further education abroad, attending University Putra Malaysia. From 2012 to 2014, he pursued a Master’s degree in Photonics and Optical System Engineering, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field. His doctoral research not only earned him respect for his findings in optical communication but also provided him the privilege of tutoring undergraduate students in Optical Communication Engineering. This role allowed him to instill his passion for technology and research in the next generation of engineers. His research encompasses: Optical communication, vibration sensing, and quantum key distribution (QKD). During his studies, he generated a number of publications in international journals and conference proceedings.

Today, Dr. Taiwo Ambali also stands as the CEO of Tabak Computer Training Institute, located in Ogun State, Nigeria, where he passionately imparts knowledge and skills in desktop publishing, software applications, and computer engineering to both aspiring and current students. His expertise is complemented by his affiliations with respected professional organizations such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Optical Society of America (OSA). Taiwo’s journey from his primary education to leading a tech-focused training institute reflects not only his commitment to personal growth but also his dedication to empowering others within the field of technology.
