Enerad Dr Babatunde Yekeen Adeboye is a graduate with a B.Sc (Physics) 2nd Class Lower Grade, B.Tech. Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering (1st Class), M.Sc. (Chemical Engineering), and Ph.D. with specialization in Underbalanced Drilling Process Engineering.

He started his career development in the Oil & Gas industries as a Field Engineer. He worked for 15 years in Oil & Gas Servicing Companies as Field Engineer, where he supervised several drilling and completion projects in Niger Delta Areas. Enerad (Dr.) Babatunde Adeboye was privileged to have attended several workshops in Oil Well Drilling & Production Engineering. He has been a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering, University of Lagos, since 2008, and ever since his engagement as a lecturer, he has been teaching engineering courses which include: Petroleum Refining Engineering, Petrochemical Science and Technology, Drilling Methods, Oil Production Optimization, and Coring and Core Analysis respectively.

Besides, he developed several programs through which several youths with HND/Degree Certificate holders have been trained and empowered to become oil & gas management services planning, monitoring, and inspection practitioners. Also, as a lead consultant for energy services system managers (ESSML), he has been a facilitator in several workshops for the training of oil & gas management services regulatory staff such as NNPC, DPR, and NAPIMS in different areas of oil & gas management.

He is a registered member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Nigerian Society of Petroleum Engineers, and a COREN Registered Engineer. Adeboye is an accredited Environment Management Consultant and has been engaged severally by the EIA Assessment Department in the Federal Ministry of Environment as an EIA reviewer covering aspects of process engineering. He has many publications in both local & international journals. He has contributed immensely to oil & gas development in Nigeria through project supervision, research & development, and oil & gas management capacity-building consultancy services. Enerad (Dr.) Babatunde Adeboye is presently a President of the Society of Energy Administrators, which is a professional body for energy management services compliance administration in Nigeria.
